Bahrain GP 2016 Tips

The Bahrain Grand Prix 2016 is the 2nd race of the season. It has been previously cancelled due to civil unrest but this year the race is expected to go on without problems. Too bad you can’t bet on races being cancelled.

Our predictions for the race

Well aside from the fact that rain probably isn’t going to happen, we do know with the heat on the race track that tyre management and strategy will be very important and we saw at the Australian Grand Prix how important this was. We expect not everyone to use the same strategy and without a doubt tyre failure might take out at least one driver.

That said we think that the fastest cars in theory should have a chance to shine with some of the long straightaways so the fast cars should really shine.

Last 4 race winners

Lewis Hamilton won the last 2 races as Mercedes had the fastest cars and previously Sebastian Vettel won the races in 2012 and 2013 with Red Bull which of course were also the fastest cars at the time. This race almost always goes to the fastest car and driver so if Ferrari are really as fast as they say they are, it will be Mercedes vs Ferrari.
