Russian Grand Prix 2016 Betting Tips & Odds

The Russian Grand Prix 2016 is next on the circuit and right now the discussion is if Nico Rosberg can be stopped and everyone must admit Lewis Hamilton has had quite the string of bad luck up until this point. We can almost count on a Mercedes constructors championship but right now Nico is starting to pull away but lets keep in mind. Lewis Hamilton winning a race and a DNF for Rosberg would more or less wipe out the sizeable lead.

Russian GP track in Sochi

The Socchi track is another one that is acknowledged as being favourable for fast cars as the track has a lot of straights with one giant signature turn which no doubt adds strain and shear to the tyres. The weekend is expecting to be mostly sunny with a high of around 17 to 18 degrees Celcius. These conditions are much cooler than most of the races which in general tend to be hot and can really influence the outcome of the races with pit stop strategies and tyre management. This track is going to make it ultra predictable for everyone, Mercedes will get their chance to win comfortably and this track doesn’t have a lot of conflicting corners and turns to create hazardous situations so the chances of either Mercedes driver having a DNF are slim for this race.

Betting tips for the race

As the race approaches more people will start to bet on Nico Rosberg to win which is not bad but this is going to be costlier. Betting on Hamilton won’t change much either so either of these drivers is probably going to be negative expected value unless you consider opportunities with betting exchanges.
