After finishing 2nd two years in a row, Nico will be fighting for his first WDC and driving in what is considered one of the fastest cars around for Mercedes
Sebastian Vettel has won 4 world titles and aiming for a 5th. The Ferrari cars this year seem to be fast and possibly have a chance to challenge Mercedes all season.
Another WDC champion gives Ferrari a good chance to challenge for the Team Constructors Championship. Kimi will be fighting for wins and another world title.
The Mexican driver is looking to carry Force India to score as many points and challenge for a podium finish or 2.
Nico is considered a very strong driver and he is an asset to team Force India.
It remains to be seen what RedBull can do this year with their engine and hope drivers like Kvyat can propel them to podium finishes.
Daniel is looking to represent Australia as well as put RedBull back on the F1 map after dropping off the radar with Mercedes dominating the past 2 years.
Once regarded as an unstable erratic driver, Romain has a lot of experience and is looking to give some respectability to team Haas.
Esteban joins Romain Grosjean on team Haas and they are regarded as quality drivers so it will be up to the team and car on their performance this year.

Carlos will have his hands full this season with a hungry Verstappen challenging him for the points and the competition should drive both drivers.
Jenson is a former world champion and his job this year is to help McLaren to scoring points and giving the team some respectability after a few bad reasons with poor results.
Fernando is still regarded as one of the best drivers still in F1 and is capable of taking a sub standard car and challenging for wins and consistently scoring points.
Valtteri had a great season last year and nobody expected Team Williams to do as well as they did. Although they are an underdog this year again, bookmakers will give them less of a payout knowing this team is capable of winning races.

Marcus is a fairly young driver looking to help Team Sauber score points and remain competitive.
Felipe is hoping to score points for Team Sauber and with 2 young drivers, the team is hoping they can at least finish the season strong.

Kevin is a young Danish driver and together with teammate Jolyon should make for an interesting season as Lotus have had some decent cars over the years.
Pascal is a young German driver and being German in F1 automatically puts a lot of pressure on him to see if he can live up to many German F1 legends as well as the number of Germans consistently in F1.
Rio is a young driver from Indonesia and he will no doubt have a nation behind him as Indonesia’s first F1 driver.
